These are public displays of HIGH TREASON and anyone found defacing government property will be put to death immediately.

Dear Citizens of the Capitol, these promotional photos seen above are created by the rebel groups, and only meant to scare you. But do not be scared. The rebels hold no power. You are safe. Feel pity for these people as they are slowly, dangerously, killing themselves through treason.

These portraits have been hereby sanctioned as illegal property because of involvement and association with the ‘Mockingjay’ symbol. Any citizens caught looking at or having these within their possession will be arrested on the charges of treason.

Recently, Panem Online sat down with Claudius Templesmith to ask him a few questions dealing with the recent attack on the 75th Annual Hunger Games, and 3rd Quarter Quell.
PO: Hello Claudius, may I call you Claudius?
Claudius: Yes, of course, people see me as a famous monster, when really all I do is talk over an intercom [laughs].
PO: Oh we don't see you as a monster!
Claudius: Well maybe not you, but believe me, I've been confused with one before.
PO: Well how could that be? Over the years it's no secret you've donated so much to the various charities within the Capitol.
Claudius: Don't make me blush.
PO: But really, you have done so much for our citizens, it's incredible how much you're appreciated. You're really a model public figure.
Claudius: Thank you.
PO: Now, about the Games. Let's start easy. How long have you worked with Caesar Flickerman?
Claudius: Oh my... well it's been quite a while, I know that much. Hmm... let's see, I believe it has been 34 years now. Yes that's correct, because I began as the announcer right before the 41st Games. Oh, and what a year it was.
PO: Quite a memorable Hunger Games.
Claudius: Oh yes, quite.
PO: So how is working with Caesar?
Claudius: Oh Caesar is brilliant. Just brilliant. We've grown very close.
PO: Oh so I imagine you've been to Flickerman Manor?
Claudius: Yes, many times.
PO: And how is it?
Claudius: Oh it's quite the abode. Some would say it measures up against the Presidential Palace.
PO: So I can guess Caesar and yourself must have been fairly shocked at the outcome of this Quarter Quell?
Claudius: Well yes, as it's never happened before, it was quite an unexpected surprise. Caesar handled it beautifully though, up until the very end, he kept his voice calm, and kept the audience at ease. Right when the feed cut out, we were told what had happened, it was quite the shock you could say.
PO: You two handled very well under pressure.
Claudius: Yes, well, if you had been in some of the situations I have throughout the Games, you might say that was one of the easiest.
PO: Are you referring to last year's finale that also made Hunger Games History?
Claudius: Yes.
PO: Would you care to elaborate?
Claudius: No.
PO: Well Claudius, it has certainly been a pleasure.
Claudius: Oh no, the pleasure was all mine. Thank you for having me.
PO: Well thank you for your years of service. Panem Today, Panem Tomorrow, Panem Forever.

Caviar Catastrophe

By Flavia Rensworth

As many citizens have noticed, recently there has been a severe shortage of seafood at many of the top restaurants in the Capitol. The shortage has affected caviar, salmon and other seafood supplies – essential ingredients for the majority of splendid dishes offered in Capitol cuisine. Panem Online has just been informed that this is due to a recent tropical storm ravaging District 4. (Photo shown above is a photo taken from one of our correspondents who are currently stationed in the district).

“The storm seems to have flooded the track; no trains will be leaving until this issue is resolved” said District 4 correspondent Button Stockett.

However citizens, do not fear for them. District 4 citizens are well used to the tropical weather and all of the force it can bring against them. It is almost on a monthly basis the citizens of District 4 have to deal with these matters, although this storm has estimated to be the biggest since 2005. Officials have informed us that they have already erected their storm shelters and have initiated all appropriate emergency procedures. Although due to the nature of the storm, it is unlikely that the Capitol will be receiving seafood products for a good time still.

“Caviar is absolutely essential in our dishes; I’m unsure how we’re going to cope” said restaurant owner Fransel Albom.

Panem Online felt compelled to cover this story and inform you of the truth of these matters. Misinformed rumors began to spread around the community, and as you all know, Panem Online is dedicated to sharing the verified facts, on several different social platforms. Although it is understandable, it is also untrue that the reason the Capitol is not receiving sea food is due to citizens of District 4 joining the rebel forces. Here at Panem Online we must stress that, even though the surprise terror attack from the rebels was on an extremely large scale, it was committed by very few. These criminals will be apprehended and justice will prevail. So do not be afraid readers, the only storm on the horizon will be in District 4.
