An Honorable Mention

By Flavia Rensworth

Well, readers today I am writing to inform you all of a marvelous and momentous occasion for Panem Online. If you had tuned into the Caesar Flickerman show last night at 7pm, you would have noticed some very familiar guests! Yes that’s right, myself and Evron Jardine were both guests last night on the show, and we had a wonderful chat with everyone’s favorite master of ceremonies.

This very special episode of The Caesar Flickerman Show was dedicated to the upcoming generation to showcase the marvels of technology and splendor. Also included on this show was Mr Rickard Chee the head of the Capitol Communication Center, the  band “The Nano Currents” and none other than Miss Jay Atless the chief officer of the federal technological distribution unit. Myself and Mr Jardine were very honored to be included on the same show as all of these fine citizens. It was certainly a once in a life time experience.

If you missed this magnificent occasion, the show is on demand and you should be able to get it one whatever device you’re using. We’re not going to spoil in for you but let’s just say the chat got rather juicy!

Caviar Catastrophe

By Flavia Rensworth

As many citizens have noticed, recently there has been a severe shortage of seafood at many of the top restaurants in the Capitol. The shortage has affected caviar, salmon and other seafood supplies – essential ingredients for the majority of splendid dishes offered in Capitol cuisine. Panem Online has just been informed that this is due to a recent tropical storm ravaging District 4. (Photo shown above is a photo taken from one of our correspondents who are currently stationed in the district).

“The storm seems to have flooded the track; no trains will be leaving until this issue is resolved” said District 4 correspondent Button Stockett.

However citizens, do not fear for them. District 4 citizens are well used to the tropical weather and all of the force it can bring against them. It is almost on a monthly basis the citizens of District 4 have to deal with these matters, although this storm has estimated to be the biggest since 2005. Officials have informed us that they have already erected their storm shelters and have initiated all appropriate emergency procedures. Although due to the nature of the storm, it is unlikely that the Capitol will be receiving seafood products for a good time still.

“Caviar is absolutely essential in our dishes; I’m unsure how we’re going to cope” said restaurant owner Fransel Albom.

Panem Online felt compelled to cover this story and inform you of the truth of these matters. Misinformed rumors began to spread around the community, and as you all know, Panem Online is dedicated to sharing the verified facts, on several different social platforms. Although it is understandable, it is also untrue that the reason the Capitol is not receiving sea food is due to citizens of District 4 joining the rebel forces. Here at Panem Online we must stress that, even though the surprise terror attack from the rebels was on an extremely large scale, it was committed by very few. These criminals will be apprehended and justice will prevail. So do not be afraid readers, the only storm on the horizon will be in District 4.

Back Open For Business!

By Flavia Rensworth

After the terror attack at the 75th Annual Hunger Games, many businesses and homes were damaged due to the brute force used by the rebel leaders when fleeing the scene. Even so, Panem Online is proud to announce the reopening of the arena used in the 53rd Annual Hunger Games! This thrilling tourist attraction includes the icy wilderness the tributes had to battle through, the ferocious polar bears they had to fight and the celebrated gift shop. Officials say that all members of the Capitol and surrounding districts are welcome to visit any time they wish. This being said, the integrated hair salon and café bistro are still under re-construction.

“My grandson was so disappointed when he heard the arena was closed, but due to the generosity of our President, he can now have the birthday he always dreamed of” said local citizen Raya Clarkstine.

The other attractions that are currently open for visitors include the arena from the first ever Hunger Games, the workspace of the magnificent clothing designer Sebastion Chaser and the newly built Capitol Zoo.

Panem Online has also received an exclusive message of advice from President Snow himself. The President wished us to tell our readers not to be afraid in these harsh times, when the shadow of those few rebels try to make our lives a misery. President Snow encourages all citizens to carry about their normal way of living.

“To give into fear, is to give in to those who create fear”
