Caviar Catastrophe

By Flavia Rensworth

As many citizens have noticed, recently there has been a severe shortage of seafood at many of the top restaurants in the Capitol. The shortage has affected caviar, salmon and other seafood supplies – essential ingredients for the majority of splendid dishes offered in Capitol cuisine. Panem Online has just been informed that this is due to a recent tropical storm ravaging District 4. (Photo shown above is a photo taken from one of our correspondents who are currently stationed in the district).

“The storm seems to have flooded the track; no trains will be leaving until this issue is resolved” said District 4 correspondent Button Stockett.

However citizens, do not fear for them. District 4 citizens are well used to the tropical weather and all of the force it can bring against them. It is almost on a monthly basis the citizens of District 4 have to deal with these matters, although this storm has estimated to be the biggest since 2005. Officials have informed us that they have already erected their storm shelters and have initiated all appropriate emergency procedures. Although due to the nature of the storm, it is unlikely that the Capitol will be receiving seafood products for a good time still.

“Caviar is absolutely essential in our dishes; I’m unsure how we’re going to cope” said restaurant owner Fransel Albom.

Panem Online felt compelled to cover this story and inform you of the truth of these matters. Misinformed rumors began to spread around the community, and as you all know, Panem Online is dedicated to sharing the verified facts, on several different social platforms. Although it is understandable, it is also untrue that the reason the Capitol is not receiving sea food is due to citizens of District 4 joining the rebel forces. Here at Panem Online we must stress that, even though the surprise terror attack from the rebels was on an extremely large scale, it was committed by very few. These criminals will be apprehended and justice will prevail. So do not be afraid readers, the only storm on the horizon will be in District 4.
